The stores focus on the experience and dilemmas that young children face, from the possibility of your best friend moving away, to helping someone to overcome their shyness.  Characters include, Henry - a fussy and particular penguin, Daisy - an energetic and imaginative flower, Madame Butterful - a maternal figure with lots of common sense, who lives at the big diner with her baby daughter, Catrina the caterpillar. There is also Johnny Snowman, the wise adult figure who owns the Snow Cone Shop, and finally, the inseparable eccentric Egg Twins.

An absurd sense of humour is the hallmark of the show, and the music is fundamental to the stories, with each 15-minute programme featuring a song sung by Oswald himself.
