The Cat in the Hat, Yertle the Turtle, Thidwick, the Grinch and dozens of other weird and wonderful Dr Seuss characters spring from page to screen.  The show’s famous host is The Cat in the Hat.  He’s there to introduce each episode with a whimsical, rhyming comedy, setting the scene for each adventure with original songs.  And along with classic characters there are a whole bunch of new ones – The Gink, Zubblewump Bird and the Pondering Plunkett – all characters created by Jim Henson Productions in the spirit of Dr. Seuss.

The choices the characters make and the lessons they learn give meaning to this collection of innovative and thoroughly entertaining tales.  Real time computer animation and masterful puppetry recreate the 3 dimensional imaginary lands of delicious confusions and fantastic conclusions.
