What design will you choose for this Art Attack?

You will need:
  • Cardboard box card
  • Marker pen
  • Acrylic paints
  • Paintbrush
  • PVA glue
  • White pencil
  • Black paper or card
  • Scissors
  • Sticky tack
Start off by first making a snowboard. Use a large piece of cardboard box card for this.

Draw out the shape - long edges, slightly curved inwards, with rounded semi-circle ends, in marker pen.
When you're happy with the shape, cut it out.
Next, you need to create a design.

It's a good idea to work out the design on paper first.
And when you've settled on a design, you can make a start by drawing it onto the cardboard box card snowboard, again using marker pen.
Next, paint the snowboard using bright acrylic paints.

This one has an Art Attack splat design, with the splats in bright colours...
...and a plain white background.
When you've finished painting and the paint has dried, brush a layer of PVA glue all over it.

PVA glue dries clear and shiny!
That completes the snowboard!
To make the snowboarder, take a large piece of black paper or card and draw a simple sketch of the silhouette of a snowboarder using a white pencil.
The more dynamic the pose, the better!
When you've finished the drawing, cut it out.

Then simply sticky tack the snowboarder and snowboarder to a wall to complete the Art Attack!
For some other design ideas, how about a cool skull and crossbones...
...a flag...
...a spider's web...
...or flowery!

Try it yourself!
