Here's an innovative idea for a picture frame - but be careful!
You will need:
Start by choosing a photo of someone that you want to frame. It's best if the face is centred in the photo. |
Place the photo on a big piece of cardboard box card and draw around it. |
Next, draw some teeth inside the frame, just like the inside of a shark's mouth! |
Make the teeth near the edges bigger, for added fright! |
Add in a gum line above each tooth... |
...followed by the rest of the gums and mouth around the outside. |
Next, draw in the lips. |
Now you can add the rest of the design. It's entirely up to you what you choose. Neil drew a shark, as you can see opposite. The design needs to go all around the mouth. |
When you've finished your design, cut it out. Also cut out the centre of the mouth, where you drew the frame. |
Then paint your design. Use poster or acrylic paint, it's up to you. |
When the paint has dried, you can add on extra detail like pupils and lines using a black marker pen. |
And once the paint has dried, you can tape the photo you chose into the back of the frame. |
And there you have it!
It looks like the person in the photo is about to be eaten alive! |
And, as ever, there are lots of design possibilities.
Here's a baby-swallowing snake! Eek! |
Or a crazy bee!
Try it yourself! |
