Here's a really quick tip for when you're next using watercolour paints.

You will need:
  • Watercolour paints
  • Paintbrush
  • Paper
  • Water
This tip comes in handy when painting with watercolours.

It's really simple - "keep your water clean".
You might think that's impossible when painting, because you regularly need to use the water.
But the secret is to have two pots of water - one for the dirty jobs like washing the paint out of the bristles...
...and the other kept clean, for wetting the paintbrush before selecting a new colour from the paintbox.
This tip will prevent the paints from getting mixed and muddy, and it'll keep the colours in your painting really vibrant.

Try it yourself!
