Do you find it difficult to draw the face of a cat? There are some handy tips in this Art Attack!
You will need:
Draw an oval. Put a dot roughly in the middle, like this. |
Starting at the dot, draw a large heart shape that touches the sides of the oval and goes all the way down to the bottom. |
Draw another heart inside that one... |
...and then a tiny one in the centre. |
The smallest heart becomes the cat's nose - so you need to add on two nostrils. |
The mouth is simply an upside down Y-shape. |
Then add in the eyes... |
...with slits for pupils... |
...followed by two ears, which are just two triangles added on to the top of the head. |
Your work doesn't have to be perfect, because you can easily hide all the guide lines by adding fur! |
Don't forget to add in a a hint of the cat's neck and the top of the body. |
Add some little dots to each side of the nose. |
Use colour for the eyes and nose... |
...and finish the picture by drawing whiskers with a sharp white pencil. Try it yourself! |
