What's the one thing lots of us forget when drawing people? No, it's not hair, face, eyes, eyebrows, ears, nose or the mouth. They're all too obvious!

Any idea what it is?
Well - it's the neck! Everyone forgets this! It's not quite the width of the face, and from the front, it's quite straight. It's also a good idea to do some shading underneath the chin, and then you can put in the rest of the body.
If you draw a head from the side, don't forget the neck again. However, it's slightly different. Here's another one of a girl's head. The neck slopes back slightly, and it's also slightly curved. Tuck it under the chin with a bit of shadow.
And this is what happens when you forget to put a neck in! Looks silly doesn't it?

Try it yourself!
